Your online bill pay is now Alexa-enabled — which means you can link to your Alexa-enabled device to pay your bills using voice activated commands!

Branded as iPay QuickPay, your online bill pay is a voice-driven capability that enables customers to access certain information about bill pay on an Alexa-enabled device. iPay QuickPay integrates Consumer Bill Pay with Amazon’s Alexa, enabling consumers to quickly and securely complete bill payment activities with simple voice commands such as making a payment, reviewing payment history, and checking on scheduled payments.

How can subscribers enroll in iPay QuickPay? Subscribers need a bill pay account to start using iPay QuickPay. Then the Alexa skill must be enabled. Below are step-by-step instructions:

      1. Log in to your bill pay account
      2. Select the My account tab
      3. Go to the Voice Bill Pay section and select the Add Alexa link
      4. Answer the challenge phrase questions
      5. Enter credentials and submit

This completes the online set up. Next, subscribers link their bill pay account to iPay QuickPay:

        1. Within the Alexa App on your mobile device, search for the iPay QuickPay skill and choose Enable.
        2. When prompted, enter the credentials created in bill pay to begin linking your bill pay account to iPay QuickPay.
        3. Create a 4-digit PIN that will be requested every time iPay QuickPay is launched.
        4. Select I agree, Link Account to complete the account linking process.
        5. Now users can say, “Alexa, start iPay QuickPay.”

What security measures are in play for iPay QuickPay? Subscribers cannot add payees through the iPay QuickPay skill. All payees must be added in the bill pay site. In addition, the following security layers have been implemented in iPay QuickPay:

          1. Subscriber are prompted to provide a unique 4-digit PIN each time they access the skill.
          2. All existing transaction caps in the bill pay product are applied to iPay QuickPay.

What reporting is available for iPay QuickPay? Payment reporting is available in the MASTER site (though the website log in, not your mobile app). To generate the report, log into the MASTER site and go to the Reports menu, select Subscriber, then Custom. Users can view reports for the number of voice bill pay transactions and the payment amount of those transactions.
