Due to the increase in the amount of fraud involving debit card transactions, you may be required to use your PIN for transactions at some merchants. If your transaction does not go through using your signature, please try your PIN to complete the transaction.

We advise you to always have an alternative form of payment with you to avoid the inconvenience of blocked transactions. If you need to obtain an alternate form of payment, please ask us about our credit card, prepaid gift cards and more.

Debit Card Fraud Prevention Service

Here’s how the communications work:

  1. When potential debit card fraud is detected, you will receive an automatic email notification with the option to reply “fraud” or “no fraud”.
  2. One minute after the email, you will receive a text alert (these are sent between 7am and 9pm), which also has the “fraud” or “no fraud” option.
  3. If there is no response received from you, five minutes after the text alert, you will receive automatic phone calls to confirm or deny fraud.

The phone number for our Debit Card Fraud Center is 800.417.4592. If you add this number to your phone contacts and label it “Fraud Center,” it will display whenever you get a call from this number.
