Whether you're at the grocery store, the gas pump, out to dinner, need cash from an ATM, or shopping online, you can use your MembersAlliance Credit Union Visa Debit Card and the money will come directly out of your MembersAlliance checking account. You can enjoy the convenience and flexibility of using your debit card anywhere VISA is accepted.

All new MembersAlliance Credit Union Visa debit cards come equipped with CHIP technology providing an extra line of defense in protecting your money, and because it's a VISA card, you're protected against fraudulent or unauthorized transactions. If any fraudulent or unauthorized transactions were to occur, notify MembersAlliance immediately and you're protected.

With near real-time alerts, you can receive updates on your Visa debit card activity through email, so you can monitor your Visa purchase activity and act quickly to reduce fraud – wherever you are. And this unique service is available free¹ for MembersAlliance Visa debit cardholders.
To enroll in Purchase Alerts for your Visa debit card visit visa.com/PurchaseAlerts and follow the screens/prompts. You will need to create an account and enter an email address that you would like the Purchase Alerts emailed to.
Visa Purchase Alerts is a consumer opt-in service powered by Visa that will give enrolled debit cardholders the ability to:
• Closely monitor their Visa debit accounts
• Check for unusual transaction activity and/or track spending levels immediately
• Take action at the first sign of potential fraud
Once enrolled you can establish specific alert triggers. Anytime a qualified² Visa transaction takes place that meets your defined parameters, you will receive an alert in seconds via email. Triggers can include:
• Individual transaction amount thresholds
• International transactions
• Card-absent transactions, such as telephone or online orders
Please note: Point-of-Sale (POS) or Personal Identification Number (PIN) based transactions do not run through the VISA payments system and will NOT generate an alert.
Alerts are emailed to the address you provide at enrollment. These are just informational alerts and should a transaction appear suspicious or fraudulent you should contact the credit union as soon as possible.
Actual time to receive Alert dependent on service and coverage within area. Gasoline alerts may not include purchase amounts. Additional restrictions may apply.
